Charity Makes Me Sick

Yes, of course, charity is NOT the ultimate solution. But is it not a humane move? Is it not natural for us humans to be willing to help the needy?
Is it not heartless to say: "Look, I'm not going to share my bread with you, because I don't believe it will solve your problems! Only revolution will, so that's where I'm going to invest! And you take care of yourself!"

No, we've seen quite many leaders with "burning hearts" and speeches like thunder, seeming to be ready even to sacrifice their own lifes for the sake of "the poor" and dispising charities and calling for a revolution; and with what result?
Killing thousands and even millions, missing the very point of humanity entirely. And at the end coming to nearly the same living conditions for the poor, disabled, old and needy. Don't tell me that, it's in the recent history of my own country.

I don't believe this "revolutionary" junk any more! Love your neighbour as yourself, and let the "government" do its duty. Pay your taxes, if you care so much!
You critisize the government; are you ready to take their place? Do you feel adequate? Shall you do the dirty work?
So let's do what we can, and do it well.

i had to check out this sub-forum because i wasn't sure if you were serious. i'll tell you i've marched and protested plenty....i agree more folks DO need to raise their voices. however, i believe charity is crucial...what brought this attitude of yours? why would feeding hungry people (mostly children btw)make you sick? that is just plan ol nonsense. have you ever been out in the cold with no place to go? no food in your stomach? well, i certainally have and THANKYOU to all the folks that saw within their heart to lend a hand.

if you need a cool political charity to check out try food not bombs....they protest and feed the people. NOW THAT's A STATEMENT!!!
