okay so i planted a seed about a month ago in a little patch of land that noone goes on. but a month ago it had just been mowed and i thought it would be easy to recognize my plant if it grew. but now the grass and everything has grown back and theres something growing about a foot or more high in the area where i planted my seed, and im not sure if its marijuana or just a regular weed. A. are there anyways to recognize a marijuana plant? B. and what should one look like after a month?
If it was a foot high, you'd be able to tell right away if it was weed. Tossing a seed in a random place where the grass gets mowed is not an effective way of cultivating if thats what your trying to do...
I know you're only 14, but growing weed is a little more complicated then just one seed + water and sun.
mhm if you want the plant to be potent , you would need hydroponics plus you would want to know if the plant is female or male...aka chronic or hemp. Anyone can tell the difference but if you cant you better get learning. bud.
i dont care much about how potent it is since this is my first time...ill be happy as long as anything grows..
and ive never seen a mj plant in person so im not exactly sure what it would look like,,especially if it hasnt started flowering yet.
the irony is that u urself need to get learning before you mislead people. some of the best weed in the world is grown in simple organic soil. hydroponics is about roots, the idea is that a plant grows better in a soil-less mixture also that providing the roots with enough nutrients and water will not result in them growing bigger to support the plant. instead the plant concentrates on foiliage, meaning faster growth. generally hydro growers save 1-3 weeks. hemp is an industrial cannabis which has 0.03 or is it 0.3 :/ thc content, its used to make rope, clothes, fibers etc as its cheaper and easier to aquire then cotton/wool. chronic is both a strain and a form to discribe really potent bud. a female plant grows the buds, a male grows balls which produce pollen.
There's a board on this site specifically for growing. Head on over there and you'll see pictures of growing plants.

Whoa not to be the "Master of the Obvious" but isn't there a special leaf on the background of this forum?
