Is there any kind of chapstick that actually works. My lips hurt like hell and the stuff I am using is not helping. I am looking for something that actually heals and is not a temporary solution. Is there anything I can use either chapstick or other?

what? fuck that shit. that makes my lips worse.

try a cocoa butter stick. or dr. bronner's. or calendula ointment, that is the best for healing chapped lips :)

I used to have crazy dry lips and I found Bepanthen works really well. Yeah it's kinda weird, these days they market it as the solution for babies' nappy rash.. But a few years ago, this pharmacist lady recommended it to me in Finland and yeah, it sorted my lips out. :p

Medicated Cherry Carmex. It doesn't burn like the mentholated stuff. And it's only a buck. Chapstick is for attention whores.

Vaseline. It is the absolute best. I buy the small jar and it sits by my bed. It also comes in a tube so you can throw it in a bag or pocket for travel..

it doesn't seem to help my kids nearly as much as olive oil does. but i do put it on them when they're going outside on a icy/windy day. keeps their skin from getting worse, but doesn't really heal anything. joey's the worst, the poor thing get so dry her eyelids will peel sometimes. sucks ass. but that olive oil does the trick every time.
