India's ISRO and Japan's JAXA collaborated together to make Japan's moon mission a major success.

Recently, a laser instrument on NASA' s spacecrft orbiting the Moon has successfully pinged the Vikram lander of India's Chandrayaan-3 mission.

ISRO's Chandrayaan-3 gets pinged by retroreflector from NASA spacecraft

International cooperation can be a useful method to attain operational objectives on limited budgets and resources, and thereby develop humanity's understanding of space to the point where they can build living habitats on different parts of the solar system and ensure humanity is immune from the threats of an asteroid strike or nuclear holocaust.
