    CDC tells vaccinated Americans they can ditch masks indoors


    People who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 can safely stop wearing masks and social distancing in most circumstances, the CDC said Thursday in new guidance.

    “Anyone who is fully vaccinated can participate in indoor and outdoor activities – large or small — without wearing a mask or physically distancing,” CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky said at a briefing.
