Cat doesn't want to get a job

I love grumpy cat but I hope that the movie fails.

I want internet memes to just be internet memes, not commercialization opportunities.

oh, and if the movie does fail...

 

both my cat and my dog have been deemed free loaders at this point.

The cat is more scared of spiders than I am.

The dog (GUARD DOG) is too easily distracted to actually guard anything.

I had a talk with both of them the other night about pulling their weight in this house...the dog needs to start vacuuming and steam cleaning his drool spots on the couch and the cat needs to start cleaning the windows that he has been licking (don't ask)

Maybe your cat is on the nip and afraid to be drug tested.

I have always told my pets that they should go out and get jobs. The dogs (past and present) could do any kind of dog food commercials since they would eat just about anything, no matter how disgusting.

Former cats, who would go outside, would kill small prey but leave it on the porch and come in and eat their food instead. One cat did protect an injured bird that was then taken to the Ornithology lab at Cornell. They would not do well at cat food commercials because they are picky eaters.

Cats are just not interested in getting jobs because it is beneath them to do so.

 

Please don't make your cat get a job. I can not stress this enough. This would be cruel. Cats are meant to sit in windowsills, climb trees, sit in laps, Sleep all day- you get the idea. Having to get a job in the real world would only crush a cat's spirit and can be very damaging to the feline psyche.

You must be new to cats. You can't make them do anything.

 

My cats all have jobs.

It is their job to cover everything, inside and outside the house, with cat fur.

It's a fairly simple job and they get more benefits than actual pay.

 

It would be beneath them...
Cats were once worshiped as gods and they've never forgotten it.
