    I think so too. :)

This was the first time I heard the name Cason, though.

If I ever have a daughter, I wanna name her "Sativa(perhaps a bit too stonerish, but a beautiful name, nonetheless)" or "Callie".

If I ever have a son, I wanna name him "Evan", since my last name is Williams. Not only is Evan Williams a nice-sounding name, but the whiskey is pretty fuckin awesome:

Yeah when someone doesn't understand his name at first that's what I say "like Jason with a C".

eh, kids have all kinds of crazy names these days. at least cassius is an actual name and not just some random syllables thrown together like a lot of modern names.

It's generally a good idea if you want to have your kid forever be associated with a certain person. Same like naming your child Adolph.

I like the name. It is a name that a child also grows into. You can do the nick name as a child but sometimes as an adult the full name is preferred and it sounds rather distinguished.

Cassius is a cool name, a bit grand yes but not over the top. Congratulations on the new family member! :D And awww, Kayden is gorgeous, such a cutie. What is he into at the moment?

Thanks. Yeah, I will get used to it. It's not for certain yet. They are still open to suggestions. They are both a bit afro-centric for some reason - a bit peculiar. But I guess they are exploring part of their roots.

Erm, just about anything and everything at the moment.
I think Thomas the tank engine. Charlie Chalk (his dad liked both as a kid).
Slightly guided by others he likes to say: 'non of that Chinese rubbish' - bless him.

I tried to get him into Dr Who, but his ma and pa are having none of it :D

There'll be other opportunities. The parents will be too busy with the youngest one to care what you and Kayden watch ;)

That is a precious nephew, Odon! He just makes me :D

About the name Cassius...I really like it! It is a very strong Roman name, which I know has already been said, but I'm thinking it bears repeating. ;) Cass would be a very cool nickname. :2thumbsup:

I'm currently reading an excellent book (A Pillar of Iron) that is about ancient Rome/Marcus Tullius Cicero...so this name really does appeal to me.

    :)

I have to say, the more I say it - the more it is growing on me. They will probably call him something else now :D

    Cassius Marcellus Clay

    Marcus Claudius Marcellus

    Yeah, I like Roman names, too..................(now :p)

I know, right :) I was supposed to spend the day with him today - then my washing machine broke. I don't get to see him that much :(

Curious. I don't really think he will have any problems adjusting. I think he might get a little upset if his parents don't share the experience. But I'm not going to ask them if they are sharing the whole thing, and not focusing too much on the new baby. :p

Well as his uncle you can give him that little extra spoiling and time when the baby comes if he needs it.

I have a feeling that you will enjoy that maybe even more than he will. :)

This is nice news to read, thanks for sharing it with us. :)
