I was out with some friends tonight playing games and drinking/hanging out and later on in the evening everyone wanted to go to the casino, except me. I dislike casinos. I have never found them to be entertaining, I always have an unpleasant time there. But they really seem to appeal to a lot of people. I didn't go and no one could understand how I could not want to.
Same here. My friends tend to go to casinos... but I do not go with them... I find gambling to be idiotic.
I think thier ok but only in vegas, most are just wannbe places. Ive won alot and lost alot and for almost a year I kept a book and broke dead even, better than most do.
I dont care to much for gambling, but i do enjoy walking through the different casinos and seeing the decor and all. Went to Vegas in March, and walked through all the new casinos, the one based on New York was my favorite. (not that anyone really cares )
The people in casinos are always fat. No matter where I go. And they are usually from up north. Even down here, most of the people in casinos are tourists from Minnesota or something....they just can't get away from it!! Sometimes I'll walk in a put in a quarter and see what happens. I won $5 once. Then I quit while I was ahead....
I'm not too into casinos - Probably because I'd be totally clueless there. I did play the slots in Atlantic City once, and I won some money. But that's only because my friend (who has more experience with casinos) was telling me what to do.
Man, I used to be addicted to playing poker at the indian casino's my freinds would go to. But the problem is, I only play poker drunk, and I can get somewhat beligerant and loud when im playing poker drunk. I don't go anymore...
I don't know how to play poker. I wish someone would teach me. I used to play the Carl's Friggin Strip Poker or whatever on AdultSwim.com. I only won by chance, though, because I would just click a bunch of buttons and see what happened.
I'd like to try Dover Downs(cause it's Non-Smoking) I feel I could dig that place. I get bummed out when the cocktail lady won't bring me a soda. I was in Atlantic City and I kept asking for some pop and she kept ignoring me. I don't like to spend a lot of money. (Last trip I spent $10.00 in the slots but I would like to watch other people throw it in there.) Maybe you should get them to go to the Non-smoking one or while they are doing their thing you could stroll the Boardwalk. (Don't buy from venders 'cause they are too high.) Try the diner down the street. (I forgot the name but it has good chow.) I've never been to Las Vegas. (It's probally too smokey for me and I don't drink booze so I'd have to sneak a soda in there. ) Cousins
Casinos are dumb. They are a worship and fluanting of money and greed. I've been to one. Plus you lose all yer money in the end!. Theres one way that they are cool: If you walk around them trippin balls, it's fun, cause of all the bright lights.
holy crap, this is an old thread dug up......... I hate casinos for one reason, all the traffic and old people travelling on highway 75 in kansas...... there are 3 different indian casinos in between topeka and fairview on highway 75, so there is crazy traffic and mostly old people driving at 55-60 mph on a 65 mph zone...... and its almost impossible to pass..... because of the 2 lane half of the way.... you ever notice that casinos dont have a single clock on the wall??? and you can easily get lost in one?? they know how to lure you in to those one armed bandits.....
The odds in blackjack are almost even. If you double your bet every time you loose and then go back to your original bet when you win you will end up with more money than you started with. I’ve tried that strategy on a blackjack program for my computer; I can turn $20 into $30 without fail.
