The german auto-barn for been the only non speed limit road in the world it has one of the lowest death rates and crash rates in the world. watch history channel more often its very informative.
Well....Austria and switzerland have Autobahn networks also although the highest speed limit allowed is up to 130 km/h, and they charge for the use of the use of thier roads in the way of purchasing a Autobahn-Vignette. The German one isn't on its own and it being the only non speed limit autobahn in the world is a myth as they have Tempolimits on most of the highways and traffic jams are very common. Also Urban sections and a few Dangerous stretches sometimes have posted speed limits as low as 100 km/h. http://www.german-way.com/german/autobahn.html who needs the History channel when you've get the internet.
got my car back also after watching top gear, have found that the majority of the isle of man, off of england, has no speed limit. theyre part of britain but not governed by them, so outside the limits of the villages their are no speed limits.. pretty fun looking roads too
