I love it when the kitties play hide-n-seek like that. :)

Here she is resting in the carrier in my room today. She has the healing amber necklace by her paws.

I fed Baby Kitty again and she ate lots more this time. She nuzzled tight under my chin afterward and purred and purred.

I've noticed that when she stretches her hind legs quiver. I think it's the weakness.

    She's resting again.

Edit- I cleaned the carrier again and she ate again. This time when she'd finished getting some affection and eating, she walked into the carrier and curled up on her clean towel. I think she likes being a kept kitty.

Baby Kitty continues to enjoy her cozy carrier and human affection.

I think she enjoyed the Fancy Feast a bit too much. She had a loose stool that she stepped in and has cleaned off her foot.

I'm thinking of renaming her "TuLottie Stink Muffin"!

I am glad this is working out for her. Sometimes when they are younger they can learn to like human comforts and the safety of a carrier..

I put Baby Kitty back on the dry food, hoping to eliminate the diarrhea. She's eaten and pottied today, however she's still not strong enough to care about walking around.

I went outside a few minutes ago and saw two cats I've never seen eating out of the food bowl. It never stops! I guess I will have to feed the other 3 outdoors cats I'm committed to and take the food up when they are done.

When Baby Kitty is well, I'm going to have her spayed before putting her back outside.

Baby Kitty has gotten weaker throughout the day. She ate a bit at dinner time but had to have help standing. She didn't want any water.

Just now, I woke her and tried to get her interested in the water. She just lay on her side with her head against the water bowl.

I got a children's medicine syringe and gave her water with it. We will see if that gives her any more strength.

Still, she burrowed into my neck and purred as I held her on my chest, stroked her, and spoke gently to her.

I placed her back in the pet carrier and covered her with a towel. Her body feels cold when I pick her up. She was looking at me and watching me through the slats as I slid the carrier back in place.

Sigh...I hope she's strong enough to pull out of this.

    Thanks, Ty.

Hubby said it's a good sign that she drank the water from the syringe. He said he has seen cat's clamp their throats shut and the water just roll back out of their mouths.

I'll tell Baby Kitty that you're pulling for her.

Is her nose wet? If her body feels cold you might want to warp her up and keep her with you tonight. I keep her in my prayers.

I believe her nose was dry, Ranger. I'm going to check on her again in a little while and see if I can get a little more water in her.

I know she is passing gas right now. Shoo! I know that's a good sign that her intestinal tract keeps moving.

I can't put her in the bed with me. I've got a huge old queen cat who sleeps on me, plus two other cats that come and go, at will. Plus, my daughter brings the 3 1/2 month old Pit Bull to bed with me in the morning when she leaves for work.

I know Baby Kitty will stay warmer with that layered towel on her. I did just have her laying in deep towels in the carrier, but now she's covered too.

Thanks for the prayers for her, Ranger. She's a sweet little soul.

Only 3 cats and a pit puppy. lol We sleep with 6 large cats, an entire siameese pride. Our Queen rules not only the pride, but is the terror of the hood. Her mate was the cause of a neighbor storming down here to tell us to make our cat stop beating up his pit bull. LOL

    Lol.

Well, Baby Kitty seems to be feeling a little better since she urinated and defecated. She still has loose stool and the weakness in her hind quarters. I had to clean up her whole lower body after that. Luckily, we had some unscented baby wipes and she seemed to enjoy the pampering.

Gosh, I hope that's over for the night. What a stink!

Oh, and I told her that you're praying for her, Ranger. :)

Pits are great. I just heard that they are second, behind golden retrievers, in loving the family they live with.

You should start a Pit Bull Appreciation thread if their isn't one. I saw your pic of Blues Clues. Great dog!

No, Libra, I don't think it's the mange.

    Thank you, Specs!

Baby Kitty ate and drank water on her own this morning, and was happy to go back to her warm carrier. :D
