Caring For Abandoned and Feral Cats

Bane would have my heart in his paws. The rest would "just" have me wrapped around their paws and tails.

Spooky would just kick his ass... repeatedly. He doesn't get along well with others.

We got an elder gray cat that hangs out in our Garage on cold nights. In the morning I put a shirt or something in the dryer to get it nice and warm. I go out there and cover her up and she loves it.

She was abandoned by a couple who were here from Seattle and the cat escaped. We found this out from vet when we took her to get checked out, turns out the couple put an info chip of some kind in her. Shes so friendly and we love her. Even though NONE of our cats get along very well, they're all very sweet in their own right.

I had 3 ferals on my porch last Winter and I covered them with a blanket every night. They loved it.

 

Aw. Its cool that you help them out like that. Its always cool to hear about people doing similar stuff. Especially when you hear about how abusive some people are to feral cats.

 

Bane, the big white deaf baby, has hair mats in both of his front armpits. I'm slowly getting them cut out as he sleeps on my desk. This guy requires a thorough brushing every day. I hope he grows into being able to do a better job grooming himself.

This is my precious Brownie Brown...he is a rescue, I guess you would say. He appeared at the house as a kitten and this has been his home ever since.

I try to get him to relax and eat more, since he is so tense and malnourished. lol

 

He's an Angora... They can not "grow into" maintaining that fur coat. He's gonna need brushing every day if he will let you.

 

An Angora? Interesting. He looks just like the one that fathered him.

He lets me brush him and I've already decided it has to be daily.
