Having grown up moving fairly often with cats my experience is that if you keep them in the new house for three or four days they should settle in ok. On the subject of cats in heat you haven't lived with a siamese in heat you haven't lived! lol btw Sia, Missy, and the last/final batch of kitttens....
Ranger, those babies are PRECIOUS! And about cats being in heat...the most "interesting" thing is that a cat will NOT go out of heat until she is "poked" so to say. After weeks, they might have just a couple of days where they appear to have gone out of heat, but...after those few days it's MEEEOOOOWWWW and back to where they were. Good luck, Aeri.
Spooky has been through alot. He will be fine. Love those babies, Ranger. Lynn, Mabon, will be 4 this Summer...so yeah, lol I'm going to get the camera out of my grandson's closet as soon as I hit send on this.
Here's a pic a snapped of Baby Kitty a few minutes ago... She has a dirty eye but the black spots on her nose aren't dirty. Those are just part of her coloring.
Baby Kitty's mother has 3 new kittens. I took food to her across the street where there is a car parked in the edge of the woods. I saw 3 kittens who are going crazy eating the solid food. I can't get near them but they are so cute!!! Two of them are white with black patches like Mama Kitty and Baby Kitty. I think the other one is grey with stripes.
Squee!!! I got a better look at one of Mama Kitty's new babies. When I went to take some food to them, only one was out waiting on me. I got close enough to tell that this one is all white, even it's face, with soft blue/gray patches on her back... I am not in love. I am not in love. I am not in love...
If I lived in an area that had a lot of strays, I'd definitely feed them! We have one (possibly 2) strays that I know of around here but I also know we have coyotes & bears, so putting food out puts us and my dog at risk, so I don't feed the kitties. The last time I saw the stray, though, he looked very healthy...so he's getting food somewhere!
Ari, if you have a minute please include Sai the male elder of our cat tribe in your thoughts & prayers.
Hope it's nothing serious Ranger... Sai looks a lot like Mister did. (Mister didn't survive the fire)
Oh, I just saw Ranger's post about Sai. I'll message him to see how Sai is. Baby Kitty was checking out the package that Rainy Day Hype sent me...it had a catnip toy she was looking for.
