    I know. I meant that you'd think the fed's wouldn't allow such disband as it's easier to control the people when there's one united set of laws.

    A federal government is very important, especially in this day and age. We saw that it was important 200 years ago, when the federalist papers failed. For this reason, it's painful to see states with their shit together, and the federal government trying to make the union fall apart.
