More recreational dispensaries are in the works and people are wondering why big corps own all the shops. State wants small business owners to open up.

 

I'm getting to the point where I miss the old street market. Alot of these corporate growers are just churning out schwag for supply hungry dispensaries (At least this seems to be the direction they're going around Tucson at least) grabbing bud off the plant to cure long ahead of its proper time while still somehow charging more than "Joe on the corner" who's slinging something that will actually get you gassed for 25% less

 

I still support my local street dealers. At least they don't charge an arm and a leg. And tax free!

 

It took me 6 months to find a plug that even sold weed, if I were into meth or heroin life would be much easier

 

I don't even know a street dealer anymore, Oregon has some of the fewest regulations around regarding the sale of recreational weed. There's a dispensary in walking distance of my home and several others I can reach by bicycle. Oregon is known for selling potent pot cheap. In fact hardly anyone is growing the shit anymore, what's the point when you can get more potent pot at the store? Yes there's a thriving black market in other places but not in Portland.

 

What I found interesting in all my travels is there are at least 8, count 'em, 8 dispensaries in the 32k populated capital city of Alaska, Juneau. They probably do a thriving business from all of the cruise lines stopping in each summer.

 

Hard to come by these days. Luckily I'm friends with a few of them.

 

Well heres to hoping, hit a new dispo, trying the house blend and this stuff.
Other stuff was called Chemistry, well named, tasted like diesel soaked pc boards burning.
This is San Fernando Valley OG and I can smell the pine from here so I may have gotten lucky tonight, fingers crossed.

This is starting to sound like a road trip is in order

 

Here in Mexico I can get more than an ounce for just US$25. That's the local price for commercial that's been compressed for transport.

Quality can vary a lot from meh to as good as top shelf dispensary. Main difference is lack of freshness and not knowing what strain you're getting.

I can also get named strain ounces from a private grower for $75 an ounce. Again quality variable, but fresher and not compressed.

Now if you go to tourist areas, like Cabo, you'll find top quality for a top price, like in the US. Hard to find good deals as a tourist, need to ask locals to find out where to go. Always be careful!
