Reminds me of my 15th birthday for which I received a Carmex jar filled to the top with high grade hash oil and an ounce of some really good 80's era Bud.

Me and a few friends proceeded to try putting a dent into the batch by the railroad tracks near the house about 5 blocks away and for the next 5 hours wandered around a 6 block radius trying to find our ways back home.

NJ still can't make up their minds for opening up recreational stores. NJ is also allowing towns to ban the sale of marijuana and also some have enacted a fine up to 200usd for smoking in public. Those towns who ban the sales are going to lose out.

I didn't think you could publically smoke cannabis anywhere.

With it being legal. You can. I don't. I avoid letting the general public see me stoned.

When I lived in California, 40 miles from Yosemite, the general public never saw me unless I was stoned...

New Jersey is going down the same path as other states. None have the guts to write their own legislation from scratch, and always borrow bits from existing law elsewhere. Check it out!

In California it brought disruption to an established cottage industry. Allowing counties and cities to pass their own laws created chaos and headaches for law enforcement.

The county I lived in was filled with growers 12 years ago. In fact I was on a farm that had 32,000 plants in the ground outdoors on 60 acres. It was the Feds who came in and busted them, not the locals. The owner got ten years in Federal Prison, and lost everything he owned by growing pot for medical patients under the pre-existing medical cannabis law in California. Many patients suffered.

I know many small growers who have lost everything due to raids or not being able to get legal licensing. The requirements for growing and lab testing of every product has driven the price of cannabis products to insanely high levels. Retail outlets are a rip off, yet thriving as people want their cannabis and seem to be able to pay anything these days.

As soon as NJ see’s the tax income from it’s neighbors NY for example NJ will be jumping onboard.
It appears NY will allow smoking in public places, I.e. any place cigarette smoking is legal.

Nice! I got right outside or sit in the garage to smoke. My neighbors know and are cool with it. My one neighbor who is in law enforcement told me this. I don't care that you do. Just don't go driving. Which I don't drive while high anyway. If I'm smoking in the woods. I'm in there for a few hours anyway. By the time I get back to the car. I'm already sober again.

    Thanks to Operation Overgrow!

    Yay!

    It worked!

We had teams driving around Europe scattering thousands of seeds. Rest stops on highways, parks, wildlands, gardens, anywhere you could. From Scotland down to Spain and Portugal, east to Poland and Czech, a lot of people did it.

It started in Amsterdam back in the late 1990s, by a Brit who had a big seed company and a big ego. That is another story...

This is more common than most people think,
What you do in your house/property is not a concern, as long as you don’t put others in danger .

This point has really been eating at me lately, most folks don't even stop to consider the simple fact that it's only the failed war on drugs which has something akin to lettuce, tomatoes, stinging nettle etc. costing more than $4 per lb. Though given the parasitic practices of some of these dispensaries the part about testing for impurities / mold etc. leaves some modern room for excuse.
The fact that as a patient I have to spend nearly 1/3 of my disability check simply to "feel well" without having to pound down 2000+ mg of Ibuprofen daily really gets me wanting to grab a torch & a pitchfork but sadly I think I'd be the only angry villager approaching the castle...
