Being American I don't know what a scouser or a chippey is!

 

A scouser is anyone born in Liverpool. A chippy is both a carpenter, and a Fish and chip shop.

Have you tried the Galtee bacon yet. Jane used to pack it, but they kicked her out because she kept dropping the rashers on the floor.
Don't worry, that was 54 years ago, so they have probably sold all those by now.

 

I was here in 1966 and they looked at least 30 years old. The interior shot was mainly what I remembered.
One of Jane's 9 brother was a bus driver and he drove the same route for 47 years. His last bus was single decker and like a luxury coach with air suspension, air conditioning and reclining seats. Because he started from the town where they lived, he kept it at home and had to clean and look after it as well as the driving part.

 

It is a standing joke in the UK. Lol
