Yup, sure is, been through there many times - its actually Gatwick's North Terminal and the enclosed in area is the 'Special Assistance' area for disabled passengers.

YUP !!!

 

Gatwick ought to replace that egg statue with a mascot of covid as a reminder that leaving the doors open is playing with fire.
