I also just re registered for my college. looks like im goin back to school.

Im kind of lost in life right now and woke up today and realize what i was in the process of doing, i didnt really wanna do.

im legally licensed to repair cars and trucks in any province...the test was multiple choice...2 choices were ridiculously stupid and 2 were very close but one was always more right than the other

i often wondered how easy it would be for a guesser to pass...passing only requires 70% if i remember right...i scored in the 90's..and ill admit a couple were guesses but educated guesses

yay water line broke..

 

Im expecting one of my house lines to bust. Its frozen already. Crossing fingers that it dosnt crack.

 

up here lines are only in inside walls...and 5 to 6 feet underground

cant say ive ever known anyones pipes froze

 

Lots of frozen pipe stories on the local news. Water main breaks to sprinkler systems. Two nights ago the firemen came to our apartment building and were here for a while then left. Yesterday the maintenance man was coming around to make sure everyone's heat was working. Apparently some pipes broke on the lower floor baseboard heating units. Yesterday afternoon I heard all kinds of water flowing through my heating unit and then silence. The heat went out for 4 hours. They apparently got it fixed by 6pm. Color me grateful.

Thursday all day today....I have errands so I will be traversing the fucking ice road....you turn your wheel even an inch and that's it....ditchound...I can only travael as fast as my car idles

they probly build them knowing that frozen pipes will be a problem, much like they build houses different in high earthquake areas, and how they build roads different in high flooding areas.

just try to hold it together. decide where YOU are going, goal-wise. if you will need to sell, then try to work towards that end, not fixing it for you, but fixing it for a better amount of money. if you know you are going to be moving, start culling the stuff you have and dont need. "keep only what you know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful." then you reduce the stress of moving and sorting. pack the stuff you definitely want to keep, but dont need to keep out.
