Mama, you know damn well we love you here in SL. I wouldn't really worry or even mention the negative people, who are probably envious or just malicious,that are hating on you in other threads.

Personally had a really rough day today. I failed a class at college and they said I can't come back, so I badly need a decent job as it looks as though I won't be continuing my education for a little. Time to grow up a bit for sure, but this curveball so to speak is not what I needed right now. Feeling a bit down but I'll make it through.

Still super icy cold in Atlanta, for here at least, i hope I didn't miss anything to crucial in thread I'll catchy up with it in da morning.

depends on what has value. if you are going by money, then yes. i do not find money to be worthy of value.

 

can't tell if i'm getting a cold or not. might just be from the RA flare-up i'm having. makes me just want to get back in bed and sleep, either way.

no skating rink here. some packed snow in the road. i have a dedicated housework day too. bleh.

 

that might be it, we're supposed to go from extreme cold today to fairly warm by friday.

 

I got to the park with Grace this morning. The parking lot was an ice skating rink. I went slow but Grace had to run and slipped a few times. Did not fall but came close. Definitely waiting for the warm up they are promising for the end of the week.

 

how did you settle on the name grace?

the beautiful girl that has a veggie stand near the other farm is named grace....I think of her every time you say grace

 

When I found her at the Humane Society they had given her some other name. Since they found her as a stray, I figured the name they gave her meant nothing to her and definitely nothing good. I got her shortly after my last dog Sunny (Sundance) had died at 14. I was really hurting after losing Sunny.

In a way she was my saving grace and I was definitely that to her as well. The name just seemed to fit and she has not complained one bit. She and her name are definitely keepers.
