no they all had different names. I only remember a couple.

Hadashah, Moshi, Leah, and the new baby was named Leba. and the other twenty names I could hardly understand, especially the adults.

and I have to dress all conservative :D

I've been lazing around all day, took a long late nap...hence, here I am at hf. :D

Went to the grocery store and got (instead of plain peanut butter) "Cashew butter". A little 12 oz jar of it was $7.50. It had a higher fat (total and saturated) content so I thought I'd try it...breaking out of the rut of firecrackers with plain peanut butter. lol

Waiting on some to finish cooking now...already started my late late (early morn) night with some tincture of maryjane. :D

I think working in a Jewish day-care center would be super interesting.

On a different note, just fyi: as I was growing up, there was this Jewish family that had 4 boys - ALL soooo fine looking, they would make all of us girls drool.

Edit: Being a little southern town, it was unusual for there to be a Jewish family...all fine looking, celebrating who they were. Don't think there weren't some of us that wondered just how hard it would be to convert...yes, we were terribly shallow.

Went to Wheeling West Virgina last night. we stayed in hotel @dallas pike.. was nice to get out the house, look out other windows .. since they were doing some construction on a few floors, they had some discount rates 59.00 a night. i guess its not advertized cause the desk clerk was like "it you want to stay" i can give you a deal but the elevators are dusty and we apologize for the inconvenience..

Snow was really pretty with the lights on I70.. then the sun come up and ruined the night. Didnt sleep , cause ya know.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B7evC55NU8I"]The Bom Chicka Wah Wah's - YouTube

just wrote my cheques out to a local farm for their community supported agriculture program. we pay them now, and they deliver us a basket of vegetables for 17-18 weeks starting at the end of june :)

i thought that it would be a good way to insure that we eat more locally produced food, and they'll be sending me some veggies that I've never cooked before, so I'll be forced to try some new recipes.

we leave in an hour or so for the pet rescue place, hopefully to fill out the paperwork to keep this little guy. he has pissed in the house a couple of times over the last 24 hours though... once right on my backpack, haha. I think that now that he is comfortable here, he's starting to mark his territory. hopefully we'll be able to curb that by keeping an eye on him and rewarding him for going outside. at his last home he and the other dogs were going all over the house by the time they were rescued, so it might take a bit for him to lose that habit.

Yeah they get more expensive here too. I think the further north you are, the more expensive they tend to be. We eat a lot of broccoli when it's warm out, but basically don't eat it all winter unless it is on sale. They want like $2.50+ for a single head of broccoli sometimes.

Seriously I got tired of getting up in the night to add more wood to the fire.

It was still 60f in here when I got up this morning, so not to bad for letting the fire die out. It will easily be 10 degrees higher than that with the final setup, the duct work and stuff all finished. Once it's all sorted I should get 6-8 hours burn time out of a load of wood, I got close to that last night. It takes about ten minutes from lighting a match until the fans kick on to get it going again for the day if it does go out. Not bad for an almost 3000 sq.ft. house.

Real cold mornings I have the second stove in the fireplace for "insta-heat"... Nice spot for morning :coffee: and a smoke.

Not a big fan of the coal industry but I also have that option if I wanted... (10 hour burn times for a load of coal)

The grocery business in general is like that. I used to work for King Soopers and I hated it because they never tell you when your off until a few days before. So like you make plans for a concert or family thing and you have wait and hope. Usually you are disappointed.
