i would always barely pass those classes

then in grade 11 i switched to tech math and got the highest grade ive ever had in any highschool class (other than shop of course)

 

quadratic equations were the worst for me...useless shit

 

In My Final Year I Scored 0% For Algebra. All These Years

Later I Very Much Doubt Anybody Has Beaten That Record....

Do you ever get sick of fire crackers? If I only ingested cannabis in one way, even switching between joint, and blunt, and edible cookie or edible firecrackers is better for me idk like variety.

Today started poorly, I then got in touch with a friend, she lives in Atlanta so I went down to see her at her apartment. She is a beautiful brunette, smart, and wicked sense of humor. And she a teacher too. We walked her crazy but fun dog, then went to coffee house and got some food and drinks, then took a drove through downtown as she had to grab some nug. Dropped her off, then came back to my town and completed my driving course. Relxinf watching sons of anarchy now, got a busy day tomorrow ao enjoyin next hour or so before bed. :sifone: oh also smoked a couple fat joints today of a strain called bubba kush, very orange hairs, smells great, decent mix of sativa and indica I thought.

Yea... I ended up getting 40% on the test I failed big time...

I don't really know what to do now... I seriously tried and studied so hard.. yet still failed so bad. In my defence the test was nothing like I thought it'd be, 90% of the stuff i studied wasn't even on the test, and most of the stuff on the test I've never even seen before. Really took me by surprise and I basically had to make educated guesses on every single question...

I don't know what will happen now... I emailed my 'admissions officer' and explained what happened... I'm willing to take an entire course to get into school this fall if i'm able, i'm just hoping i'm able to... I might not be though, since i did so bad on the test... We'll see

Sorry to hear tha. What was this test for? College placement exam did you say? What kind of math was it? I enjoy maths a lot, but am not good at it. (if that even makes sense)

Def keep in touch with admissions, be polite, go see people in person, as well as persistence over the phone, even if you feel as though you are being too invasive, or pushy just keep doing it, shows your interest and commitment.

Guys, I have some pretty serious feelings for my friend, she is a beauty, and just very compatible with my personality, however she is almost 10 years older than me, although she looks same age, she 31, im happy just being a close friend with some benefits as an actual relationship between us would never work, nor what she would like.

im better at visual math. geometry. graphs. i could do quadratics, but it would take me awhile to remember how. i always preferred to graph by hand, hated using graphing calculators. math is a matter of thinking, not so much memorizing (although there are things you should memorize)
when i started (never finished) college, i had a math teacher who made us "invent" the method of the answer. sure, you might have a formula to use for this problem, but where did the formula come from? how does the formula work? it was math thinking. the answers were not important, the method was.

Yea it was an assessment test, i needed about 70% on it to qualify for the program i signed up for. It was business-type math, like a lot of percents and graphing/word problems, fractions and all types of equations, pretty much everything algebra related lol

Yea i emailed my admission person soon as i got home, i'll call her early tomorrow if she doesn't reply. There's gotta be something... like I'm not supposed to start until September, so i have a ton of time to take whatever math requirments i'm missing... its just a matter of if they'll let me.. seeing as how my deadline is Feb 3rd to meet all requirements lol

 

here's some practical math

i've got someone coming tomorrow to buy something for $600 that cost me $150 plus $14 in parts

I remember geometry was like that...it didn't matter if I got the right answer, I had to show the "proof", I think it was called, and I wasn't always real hot to show the proof. lol and no, getting the right answer didn't count

I guess I stand alone in liking algebra. I always viewed it like a game...hell its played exactly like a game...when the number crosses the = mark, the number changes from positive or negative. Other than that, its basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

triple ha, I've tried some other types of edibles but it just didn't seem like I could feel them (get high) like I do when I eat the firecrackers. I'd love to find some other fool-proof method where I feel the edible and I don't waste any of the product.

I guess I'm in a rut (but a good rut, mind you ) with the firecrackers because I like using the least amount for the biggest bang.
