It sucks but employers can follow federal law. Many employers especially in blue collar jobs are not happy about the new law. They will bust you if they can.

"Donation" is the word to use to get around the law. It is not illegal to posses or share weed but it would be illegal to sell it without the tax and proper license from the state. So if I say you are donating to the cost of the grow it is technically not illegal. This applies to recreational sales. Now that legal shops are open I think we will see less of this. It was just a way to buy weed for the year or so it was legal out here but there was no legal way to buy it without a card. Although with stores running out I am hearing dealers still have a market especially when they do not tax.

For medical a patient they are only supposed to buy it from a caregiver who is registered as such with the state or a medical dispensary. The caregiver can only have 5 patients so they can not make a living selling weed.

worked 3-10 today and trained the new girl.

I'm so happy with her. she was smart and articulate and wanted to learn everything, so I had her learn the hard stuff, the stuff I know that the other hires are unwilling to learn... or they learn and never put it to use. or quit real soon.

and she lives two blocks away. I shared my addiction with sparkling apple cider with her, she stoood outside dealing a deal I made, and then I gave her a ride home

I wish everyone I worked with was this intelligent.

Part of why they do that may be liability. He could have filed a workman's comp claim/ other legal shit. They give him the drug test so they can say "but yer honor, he had intoxicating drugz in iz system!". Then they have to fire him, because if they kept him on knowing that he tested positive, that would invalidate that as a legal defense.

Wouldn't surprise me if dangerous work sites would hire stoners on purpose (with a contract that says they can be fired for testing positive) so that they can dodge liability.

I have done some cleaning, made a nice breakfast for myself, now going to paint the inide panel well two, in my car they were fucked up when i got it, so removedf shittness and but base coat, gonna paint em now.

smoked a nice doobie, rolled quite exquisitely i must say, lots of other projects and assignments to keep track of. my part time job, as i am student, and looking into other career paths as well as superstoner, hasnt sent me schedule, even to i talked and said i wsa back and he wanted to sched me.

we normally get it sent on Saturday afternoon, or night, didnt get it,a nd i midday sunday now

 

friend of mine is in the hospital with chest pains, he thinks he has heart disease. not unlikely, because their diet is sub-par. his symptoms are usually stress induced though, so if he could just worry and stress less he would feel a lot better. he was staying home with the kids while his wife worked, and she broke a bone in her neck at work, so they have no money coming in right now. i cant take them in here without a living space set up already. but i am going to teach them how to cook/eat better for cheaper. they have been homeless before, and i really dont want them to end up that way again.

i find it very difficult to be ahead of my friends. sitting in our house, getting out of debt instead of falling deeper. im even ahead of my parents. its disturbing. i feel compelled to pull everyone up. and then i cant understand why other people dont feel the same way, why some people have to push others down. i want everyone up here with me, doing better, getting better. and we arent rich by any means, were just making progress. one day at a time. one check at a time.
