also i went to a big shopping center today. picked up some bud, andstopped a t my friends place on the way. smoked with him and his girlfriend, i picked up a book i needed, and also two video games; Red Dead Redemption and GTAV. excited to have my own copy of GTA finally and get into the story and shenanigans.

MIGHT roll up a little something later. still pretty stoned.

actually, medical bud you dont have to pay the extra taxes for. and american law, in general (im sure there are exceptions) allows you to make/ grow anything legal you want, for personal use. i could make my own spirits and grow my own tobacco, and now also grow my own weed, as long as its for me and mine. it would be a difficult precedent to disturb.

elaborate please. taxes on recreational indulgences are not donations. the first big chunk of tax revenues goes to our schools, which desperately need the money. but you cant (or certainly shouldnt) penalize someone for their medicine.

medical marijuana when you pay for it...it is called a donation and I didn't think donations were taxed....it is probably different on recreational use....

 

Ya I was aware that you don't pay the 25% or whatever it is tab n medical. I was saying that I hope they don't take that tax and apply it to medicinally bought bud.

I know people can grow their own but many due to ease of access and lack of time or knowledge find it easier goof to dispensary instead of growing their own.

I see my rheumatologist in February and am planning on asking him for a medical marijuana (or marihuana, as the government of Canada calls it) recommendation. I figure that the worst thing that can happen is that he says no. It would be nice to not have to worry, and to be able to medicate on campus without worrying.

in Ontario its called ohip

its government owned and run so they really frown upon doctors doing un-needed tests.......most stuff is covered by ohip...all emergency visits....all doctor visits.....all surgery and all specialists

some people have ''extra'' healthcare where they get a private room at the hospital...private meaning 2 beds and not a ward with 6 to 12 beds in a big room

plaster casts are free but fancy fibreglass is not....dentistry is not covered at all unless its an emergency handled at an e.r. or dental surgery in an office under certain conditions

hmmm. i dont know anything about this. i have never bought at a dispensary, medical or otherwise. i guess if that is how they worded the law... ill have to look into it.
