It now goes to the Senate.
Proposed is to allow anyone over 18 to possess just over an ounce of weed and grow four plants at home.

Meanwhile Canopy Growth Corporation of Canada is the largest marijuana company in the world.
Canopy has partners in Jamaica, Austrialia, Spain, Denmark, Germany, and Brazil.
None for the U.S. though as federal law prohibits marijuana.

Canada is expected to harvest 1.1 million pounds this year.

I wonder how much of it will end up in the US. It's incredible to me that the US is STILL mired in such old fashioned thinking about marijuana. How is it possible that today's "leaders" are just as stubborn as their grandparents were?

Just to clarify, there is no limit on possession, only on how much you can have on you in public.

My only concern is that my medical supplier (owned by Canopy, actually) is going to be supplying the recreational market and I'm worried they're going to start running short.

I'm happy for the stoners, but worried for their lungs. I hope it results in viable scientific research too! Anyway, it's a good thing.

Careful Canada, marijuana leads to harder drugs.
