Can you have unity with people that want to overthrow the Union?

This is why I'm done with Republicans. Now it goes beyond being disagreeable with my convictions. Now they're simply batshit crazy to put it bluntly.
It used to be you could argue each major US political party was opposite sides of the same coin. You can't say that anymore. As corrupt as the Democrats (and Republicans in the past) might be, what has become of the Gullible Old Party is a shit show/horror show. It's not a matter of simple or even complicated disagreement anymore. They won't even acknowledge basic facts. I wish I were kidding or exaggerating.
I pray the Romneys and Bushes and Cheneys and McCains have the dedication and fortitude to separate decisively from this political pestilence (and it is a veritable pestilence) to establish a partisan presence, whether it be with purging of Mensa material like MT Greene or fleeing from the insanity and finding their own political corner, and cooperate with Democrats to rid America of this stain, so that we can continue to disagree with each other but at least both accept reality as the battlefield.

I just don't understand what they hope to accomplish or what their end game is. At the very least it will turn the economy upside down and many of them will lose their jobs. So you mobbed the Capitol. What were you going to do there, actually drag Pelosi out an beat her? Then what ? Did they ever think about the shit storm that would have followed?

 

That's OK. They felt very good about themselves for the moment. And that's all that matters, riiiiight?

 

I think some factions REALLY want a shooting war to happen here in the U.S. But they aren't the only ones who know how to shoot - extremely well.

 

But what's their end game, have they thought about it? Only so many can live off the land for so long. Guess who has more guns...they just haven't though it through - for them and the rest of the world that will have to pick up the pieces.
