Nope. Not from what I have seen on my Facebook feed. They just keep on with their bullshit. Mind you the people I have on that or people I actually know in person. I have not been back there since I seen that shit. get my groceries someplace else.

Unity with QAnon supporters? With the Proud Boys? Not gonna happen. And I damn sure don't support "unity" created by dropping any charges against Trump. He must be held accountable for his actions. Sadly, that would mean punishing their savior.

 

Democrats need to crack down hard on the radical, un-American GOP and their adherents that stormed the capital on the 6th in a act of insurrection, perpetrated by Trump, many Republicans in Congress, and the right-wing media outlets. You can't reason with traitors; doing so justifies their cause and makes those who try, complicit. It's like trying to compromise with bank robbers and saying, "Okay, instead of taking all the money, you can just take what's in the registers."

We need a zero-tolerance policy for treasonous activities, which can be modeled after what GWB did after 9/11 with anyone even remotely related to the attack punished. Put these conservatives in Guantanamo. Tell them that if you want to behave like civilized, honest people who have some semblance of a conscience, we'll talk to you; otherwise, you're no better than the rats of Chicago (or wherever they have a lot of rats. I assume Chicago does).

Maybe it's time for a little revenge for the McCarthy era when if you weren't a member of the John Birch society, you were deemed a communist, and all the lives they ruined with the House UnAmerican Activities Commission. America is defined by our Constitution and our democracy -- two things for which Republicans seem to have total disdain.

Until Democrats grow a spine, our country will continue down this dangerous path to fascism.
