RE: and as for the cops. they have their limits of the things they can do. after all, all they do is arrest you, take a report, pictures and interview potential witnesses, the District Attorney is the one who decides if charges are filed or not.

They can decide to never bring it to the attention of the DA (as in, when it's a cop/son of a cop/etc)

They can also decide to charge you with about 20 different charges they can charge anyone with at any time

They can also decide to plant drugs on you or simply lie. David Milgaard spent many years in jail for murder for being a hippie. The cops simply lied in court. DNA later exonerated him, and exposed the pigs for being lying, conniving railroading vermin.

What else is new?
