I think a peck is a farming term for an amount of something. Apparently equal to 4 dry quarte, or 1/4 of a bushel. Who knew.

and suing them would be useless because im fairly certain you told us they have already moved on to wherever we go

i kind of like this one, if i thought it could do any good about it.

besides a prehensile tail and retractable claws, i would seriously like many times more brain power then what i have.

of course that might not do me as much good as i'd like it too, but it might be fun to find out.

it is a volumetric measure. i don't know of there being an absolute standard for it, but i wouldn't be surprised if there were either.
as recent as a hundred years ago, both were still in fairly common use.
