    Well, I'm gonna.
On New Years Eve I went to a party - and at that party there was a playroom in the house. I was intrigued by it - well equipped with a sling and a bench, and various straps, whips and leather items, and toys - and a small bathroom just off the playroom that had a bidet.
So, as the evening wore on and we celebrated the arrival of the new year, I noticed that men were going to the playroom - my curiosity got to me, and I went back to see what was going on. A lot was going on. I found a spot along a wall and was intending to only observe. One guy was in that sling and getting banged more than once. Well, it was crowded back there, and we were packed in tightly- one guy started sucking my dick and then embraced me and started kissing me. So that was that - and it was all fun and games...

UNTIL a few days later, I was sitting on the john, taking a dump, and I looked down and spotted an unfamiliar freckle on my dick. It wasn't a freckle. It was a crab. a pubic lice.

What proceeded was disgust and annoyance, and off to the drug store for some NIX. The bad part of this story was that before I discovered this infestation I had met with another guy and had to tell him that he might be infected.

I washed my sheets and clothing and followed the directions for treatment - and abstained from further sexual contact again for a couple weeks. I heard from the guy I thought I'd infected, and he said he was OK. I told him to be sure and be aware the incubation period was 7-10 days. I felt bad because he was married and pretty new to playing around on the side.

It has taken the wind out of my sails, guys - it has given me pause to what I am doing and maybe I need to reconsider my activities. One friend I told said it was no big deal - shit happens - it is easily treated, and I'll be fine. Another friend told me maybe this was a warning and maybe I need to back off and reconsider my high sexual appetite for meeting up with men.

Here I am at the start of February - It's been a heck of a way to start a new year.
Have any of you experienced this creepy STD? And how did you handle it?

Never had crabs but if I did I wouldn’t let it deter my activities. Just take care of it and move on. Maybe be a little more particular about who you hook up with in a group setting like that.

I hear ya, Rich - and thanks for commenting - it was not so much as being particular about who I hook up with - the room was so crowded - and I guess you never know who might be carrying these - it's not a hygiene issue - and like any STD - you just might not know. It's the roll of the dice sometimes.

But - thanks for the comment - out of 32 viewers so far you were the only one decent enough to add a comment.

I never had crabs either, but I did get acute hepatitis B sucking a stranger's cock and swallowing his load. Really ticked me off that he never once replied back to any of the three emails I sent him.

It sucks that it happened and sorry to hear about it. Anyone who knows they are carrying crabs should treat it and avoid that scenario where they hook up at all and certainly not in the group scenario you mention.

But it sounds pretty hot without the mishap, no wonder you let your guard down.

Someone takes their play seriously setting up a playroom like that.

I met with a guy at a venue with private hot tubs. It wasn't the first time I had been with him, but it a fun place to meet in private. Well I got a uti from hell and spent a month with a catheter. The guy I was with never got anything. Bad luck I guess.

I'm not so sure you can pin it solely on the guy vs on the hot tub?
Just how gross are hot tubs? Depends how you feel about bathing in feces, urine and fungi

Either way sorry for what you, Papasmurph, and Lowhangers went through.

It's better to play it safe and use condoms. It's not everyone's cup of tea but if the goal is to continue having fun condom it's the way unless you sre in a clean closed relationship.
I say what matters is not only to play but to continue having fun. There are flavors of you don't like the taste of rubber.

My girlfriend gave me crabs and tried to say that I gave them to her - and that told me that she was fucking around on me, too. Got the stuff to get rid of them and made sure my bedding wasn't infested and... I kinda forgave her and we went on to get married. I've never gotten them since and... do people still get them?

And I don't consider them an STD and no more than head lice is an STD. But I was pissed about that just the same.

I have never gotten an STD having sex with men... or women although my wife's doctor wanted to treat me for her urinary tract infection even though I tested clean for said infection. I don't know how many people I've had sex with in my life to-date but, nope - no STDs and I've sucked cock and eaten pussy all over the world.

Well when I was diagnosed with Head & Neck Cancer my family and friends and even myself just figured it was from all my years of tobacco usage and my ENT oncologist agreed with that. Fast forward 10 years a it reared it ugly head again and my original ENT retired by then. My new Doc told me that according to my cancer's DNA it was originally caused by HPV or the Human Papilloma Virus which as is well known to be sexually transmitted. I have no idea who I could have contracted it from since it can lay dormant for many years and at 67 I've lost count of how many people, men and women I've had sex with over the years. Now I've been told that no matter what's a persons age it helps to get vaccinated. My Doc says it's too late for me so who knows. But other than that I've never contracted any other STDs.

Yeah, mine is because of HPV... and I still laugh about that because only God knows how many people I've had sex with in the 60 years I've been sexually active! Too late to vaccinate but is HPV an STD? Must investigate...

That may be because the title of the thread was inviting.

Anyway; I haven't had any STIs so I can only imagine what I would do. I think if it were me, I would take it as a warning that I was not being sufficiently discerning.
I don't have sex with just any woman and I wouldn't have sexual activity with just any guy.

I'm not sure that that will be much or enough help. :\

I never encountered this but I didn't do anything in a group. I was only in one bi-banging group. 12 guys and 3 women. No Male to male, all were into the women. One guy did bring a condom and asked if I'd like to give him a bit. Not in public, and it wasn't my thing. At one stage I was one on one cock sucking with an older guy, in his unit No health concerns and he had many cocks in his mouth. That was his service to frustrated older guys. Another hookup was a gay guy with his own unit, only for oral. Nothing then either, I suppose because he did have a strict health and checkup routine, even with the two or three regular full-on sex hookups he had going.

Haven't been to any venues, only a bi guy's unit and a gay guys unit. Both were very clean and stayed healthy. Essential because they did have various 'visitors'.
