^^^^^ wow^^^ this is exactly my situation...lol
hit that one straight on the head lol..
I do get that his job is stressful (he does pretty much own his own roofing company)
I'm not trying to make it sound like I'm perfect either.. by any means lol..
and yea I agree compromising is definitely the key..
I didn't mean to make it sound like I literally sit here and wait for him lol.. I do have a life too it's just I'm sure every person who stays home with the kids knows what I mean.. I get excited when he comes home.. I look forward to it.. cuz he really is fun to have around... most days lol..
I have talked to him about the fact that he's never home and when he comes home he acts like he just went out for milk when it's really been since 6am to sometimes 9pm... it gets old real fast.. so he's been making an effort to come home at better hours.. and call me more during the day.. like I said everything has been honestly going great lately... so this just feels kinda out of the blue to me... he's just so stubborn tho.. I swear he knows he's at fault right now but too immature to admit it to me right now.. eeeeerrrrr... frustrating! lol

 

hehe yea... but I should get the bj.. lol I think I'm the one who deserves it here lol..

 

I know what you mean by being excited for him to get home.....actual adult conversation is so appealing at the end of some days as a mom

perhaps a weekend alone (or even a night) without baby would be the best thing for you two! take baby over to grandma's and spend some quality time together....sometimes that's enough and you don't have to have the emotional conversations, they just kinda clear themselves up in the midst of your bonding....

he most likely does know he's wrong and is just waiting for it to blow over, sometimes you gotta cut people a break and let shit slide from time to time....which isn't always easy (especially for me, im stubborn as shit) but it can be the difference between a long drawn out battle and loving peace.

just make sure the two of you find the time to love and appreciate eachother as individuals and not just as mommy and daddy.

yea I just called him to try and see how his days going and just to say I love you.. and he blew me off and wouldn't even say "I love you" to me...

There comes a time in lifewhen you have to let go of all the pointless drama& the people who create it...& surround yourself with people who make you laugh so hard that you forget the bad and focus solely on the good...after all life is too short to be anything but happy!!blessed be!!

I'd say there are deeper issues than just napping, obviously. This does not sound like a solid relationship. I would definitely start comsidering options. I have a neighbor that sounds an awful lot like this.

All new parents get frustrated and a little crazy sometimes. The stress builds up until it gets to you. All my friends went through that.
