Can anyone give me one piece of SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN evidence that dread wax fails?

    I've had 2 sets of dreads, the second set w/out wax both got to the same length, wax screwed up my first set, my second seems more helthier

    Why does it need scientific evidence? dreadies are natural, hair in its purest form i suppose. everything about them is beautiful and some people just think that using wax not only damages them but takes away from that purity.
    But hey do what makes you happy and if thats waxing down your dreadies everyday for an appearence, do your thing its all good!
