Camcorder suggestions??

I know this is the computer forum but I figured someone here might know about digital camcorders...

I recently got a Canon MV750i Digital Camcorder and was massively disappointed. Indoor picture quality is worse than my ancient analogue camcorder. So I'm sending it back.

I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a good DV camcorder that works well indoors and in low light and gives a clear picture??

why don't you just buy small spotlight that fits into "accessory shoe" on the camera? it's really helpful thing.
