Just be careful with some of these-they put a lot of strain on your back-working muscles you don't use much. Work up the reps up slowly. Plus the first day after a hard stomach workout HURTS.

I would get high and watch tv and just do stomach for an hour a night.

My main problem is the way my room is set up, I have a mattress on the floor, and no floor space. Would it make a difference if I did them on my bed or not?

doing ab specific exercises wont burn your gut... it will make your abs bigger and stronger.

however, doing cardio will burn fat. running would probably be best, swimming too. also you will get the greatest benefit out of a sit-up or crunch ab workout by doing it immediately after intense cardio while your heart rate is still elevated. doing wind sprints and then sit ups is killer.

if you're gonna work out your abs, you should also target your lower back and obliques. balance is everything for avoiding injury. get on the roman chair at the gym and doing oblique exercises and weighted lower back exercises.

ok...just had to comment on creatine. Its been widely studied for at least 2 decades that I can remember - not gonna pull any of the papers up right now - but you should be well advised to not be concerned about any negative effects.

we naturally consume creatine from sources of meat as it is.

its cheap, its effective and it would be something I would recommend using.

On that note, i'd also add fish oil to your supplement list and a multi-vitamin. i'd go with Now brands Adam or another product that is similar and to a similar standard that NOW: Adam is at for the bio availability of all the vitamins and minerals...fish oil provides many benefits.

protein supplement - i'd go with an MPI (milk protein isolate). get best of both worlds of whey and casein. any quality protein will work fine though...just dont' get sucked into the marketing schemes and pay outrageous prices for crappy products.

log what you are eating at fitday.com - everything you eat, log it. what you wrote in the OP about what you eat is meaningless. It may be a pain in the ass at first, but if you really want the progress you seak (lose fat, gain muscle) then you best believe this step is necessary.

    hardgainers -

generally, they dont' eat as much as they believe they do. this is why logging your food is important. generally, it'll be a smack in the face at what you thought you were eating.
howevr, some do eat plenty, so consider below...
compound this with the nature of a hardgainer - when they eat more, they tend to move more.

as well as they have a training routine that is far too much volume (doing too much, not allowing proper recovery) to allow themselves to grow.
