It would of been quality; but they were too small/far away really for a camera lens to capture the motion, and so it would most probably of been a wasted effort.

Hundred percent; we were smoking some low-grade hash that didn't even really give us a small buzz let alone get us high. Plus, I've never 'tripped balls' on weed; I use other things for that.

sometimes an atmosperic lense can form that is kind of like a transparent mirror effect, then lightsources from near the ground can be reflectied back in it, magnifying their movements and resaulting in something very like what you describe seeing.

which is of course not to say that any one possibility is ever the only possibility nor that any one ever rules any other completely out.

it is a diverse universe and people see many strainge things. some of them you have to ask your self why would any creative awairness want to cause them however. could be some form of alien entertainment or artform i suppose.

or maybe they were spelling some alien form of "buy coka-cola" or something.

it would be fun if you could have gotten footage for the rest of us to play with and perhaps analyze.

not doubting that you saw what you saw either. just real puzzled as to why/how it might have taken place. as undoubtedly you may be as well.

Puzzled is exactly what I am. I'm prepared to be proved wrong and would like to believe it was a normal every day thing to see.
