Water, I have found that just a glass of ice cold water can give you a bit of a energy boost and if that does not work ginseng works very well, but don't use it everyday because your body does build up a tolerance to ginseng very quickly. Also more sleep might help also. If you need a sleep aid there are many natural sleep aids that work the same if not better than over the counter sleep aids, some of these herbs are, Chamomile, Hops, Passion flower, and Valerian root. Valerian root can cause some health problems if used to much but when needed works wonders.

You are depleting your adrenal glands chicka...keep it up and eventually you may experience organ failure or develop something that will kill you slower due to depression or decreased immune system function.

the more you drink, the less effective caffeine becomes. you build up a tolerance to it. 6-8 cups a day is so not healthy, especially in sucha short time span

get more fucking sleep . seriously, 4 hours is not enough. 6-8 is what a person can genearlly function normally on, some people need more though. im best on 8 and decent on 6. any less, if its one day im ok bu tmor ethan on eday and im wrecked. no coffee will fix that.

you are damaging yourself with this little sleep and that overabundance of caffeine in your system.

really need to wake up? go for a walk outside first thing without bundling up super heavy, so you can feel the cold. cold wakes most people up (well, at first at least). coffee makes me vaguely functional in the morning but i wake up a shitload more when i walk the 3 blocks to my bus stop in the -10 to -20C weather

I'm only 16 so I live with my parents and such and I made my mom stop buying two of my sources of caffeine. I'm getting along better than I thought and just drink tea for my lack-o-caffeine headaches. :/ It can be done.

I quit coffee for two weeks now, for only the reason that I don't like the way it stains my teeth. Since I've been drinking green tea.

I try to sleep, but my body just won't let me. I think i might have insommnia or something! i know the caffine and all the other shit i drink is bad, but everytime i try to stop drinking it, i feel like a slug, and i hate that feeling! as for the cold weather waking me up, it works alittle, but not all that much unfortunatley.:(

you're going to have to deal with feeling like a slug for a little bit while you stop drinking all this crap. you'll be able to sleep once you stop feeding your body useless crap

    you don't have insomnia

it takes me an hour or so to fall asleep most nights... you just have to plan ahead for it. make sure youre getting some exercise during the day and you tend to be more tired at night too.

there are some herbal sleeping pills you could try, bu tyou should only use them sparingly because therea re of course side effects from using anything too often. i use ones with valerian in them when i really need to go to bed very soon because i have to get up stupid early the next day.

otherwise, relaxation techniques. feel your body getting heavy. or imagine a black board, writet 100 on it in chalk, erase it, write 99, erase and write 98, repeat until you fall asleep. im assuming youre like me in that your brain goes too fast/you think too much to actually let yourself fall asleep sometimes; if thats the case then those relaxation type things tend to help
