This is a band an old friend of mine from college played in - he's listed as Spot in the musician list for the album - he was lead guitarist. He also played for Daniel Amos and a few other bands. I used to trade poems and play guitar with him in the college dormitory - he was way better on guitar than I was, but I learned some stuff and we had fun. He just recently found me on facebook and we're back in touch after all these years.

That album is my favorite metal album. Every song is good, such a complete album, amazing. The song Ordinary Story on that album is why bought the cd when i first found those guys.

i find the fan comforting. i always have it on, even if its not even hot, when it's chilly even..
i just find the breeze and the noise of it soothing. lol and it helps me sleep. especially cause the noise of it cancels out my bfs snoring.. lol

I live with a wind machine on my bed next to me. I can't live without it. If only I had discovered this secret to living when I was a freshman in college - I could have made it to a helluva lot more of my early morning classes - it would have helped save me. But such was not my fate.

Man i am not tired, i dont feel like doing anything...except i want to work on my car...but wtf at this hour?

I can go to the shop and work on it for a few hours...but its cold outside...but its the only thing i want to do right now...

I woke up way to late today and i feel like i havent seen daylight in 40 hours..

 

It would appear that now is the time for that then, no matter what "logic" may "dictate."

Cat poop is one of God's guiding tools in our earthly existence.

 

I see daylight. I'am outside many times during the day (and night). I wake up by 11:00 a.m. most days. I slept till Noon today because I didn't got to sleep until after 5 a.m. I almost saw the sun before laying down.

 

Tomorrow is going to be a day-long snowstorm, so my plan is to work from home again. I'll wake up when the alarm goes off at 10:15 AM - that's 15 minutes before my normal flex-time arrival time at work on Thursdays. Time enough to slap myself awake, get my office laptop computer running and connected to the company network and doing an initial email perusal before dragging myself downstairs to make coffee. I won't stay up late enough to see daylight before I sleep - tonight, tho I have done so countless other nights of my life.

 

Yeah, it's not that much fun by yourself. I love staying up and seeing the sun rise with some good company! :sunny:
