I used to wear ties to work every single day...I owned one three-piece suit for every day of the week...

Now I realize it was all shit. The people I work for have a vague feeling it's shit, but they haven't been able to completely free themselves.

Our nightmares teach us who we are.

I can no longer give blood, cuz I have antibodies for TB. Well, plus I have too many red blood cells, which is indicative of a disease. I don't have that disease, but the dweebs who decide what's what have to make decisions based on jerkass dweebshit. So it's their loss, and I don't need to feel guilty anymore about no longer donating blood.

Fuck yeah. I was a kid when this video first came out. Damn...there is amazing power in legs like those...


Tonight I watched the movie Goodfellas for the first time ever...finally. Damn good movie.

 

I realized at a very young age that society tends to want everyone to walk and dress the same.

Cops all in the same stuff telling people what to do, never understood why anyone or my parents would listen to them. I was never given a valid answer

I never understood why men in office buildings always wore a hangmans noose around their neck.

Why are all these older women painting their face? Maybe they should sign up for the circus?

Why is it that when i asked teachers why im supposed to be here their answer was always 'we are all supposed to be here, this is how it is' ummm wtf?

Then one day, probably the day i got my first hair on my nuts, i thought to myself. I am not falling in line. SO I CUT THE HAIR OFF..well i dont know if i did, but i think i did cause i was scared lol,

Point is, i have never fallen in line. I made it into management for safeway and it was like working for a nazi regime..and i got promoted, then a few months later i left. A lot of people were shocked. I made it up in the company, saw the disgusting corruption, and left.

Since then ive lived off my cash tips...

My dad was a VP. He did damn good, and I won't denigrate him for that, cuz it is something i could not do.

I made it as far as first-tier tech lead/team leader, and I found out the kind of shit you need to eat to make it farther up those lines. I refuse to cover up my mistakes, or to throw other people under the bus to make myself look better, so the level I'm at is where I'll stay, thank you. Anyway I've always hated adminstrative work, and it gets to be more and more of that the higher you go.

 

Also times have changed. When i first started there as a courtesy clerk, in the break room everyday people who had been with the company for 15 or 20+ years all said the benefits and hours and everything was so much better. Now everyone feels like they are being fucked over.

So for a lot of us entering the company, and i know safeway is not the only one, right now, its fucked. Moral value is lost.

My boss has benefits, bonuses, and much much more. Upcoming management was not getting those same benefits anymore. The hours were the same and more.

It was such a stressful work environment. So many people working their had substance abuse issues. Cig cravings like id never seen, chew addictions, alcoholics were as common as the average person who had 5 fingers on their hand....

i do put the dog in the shower and use my thumbs to clean her

then i dry her off and she does laps around the house..

 

It's kind of you to lend your thumbs, since she doesn't have any.

However it seems to me she would prefer you use a blow-drier to dry her off with. Have you asked her about this?

 

I wish I felt like telling the story of my brother's dog running laps around the house...it's a good one...maybe later...

 

I used to use my thumbs to wash my gf. She was appreciative of that as well. She wouldn't do laps around the house afterward, tho.

 

Hubby has not been helping me with the puppy. She just chewed his internet connection cable in two.
