I was not addressing this need to stay or go.
We make our own decisions.
I was addressing this verbal abuse that threatened physical violence.
This is something I cannot stand for.
The paradox being that animal aggression sometimes can only
be dealth with through engaging battle.
If the matter can be settled by a verbal challenge, great...

I know what you mean It's selfish, but my response to threads like this vary a great deal depending on my mood.. sometimes I'm all loving and understanding and sometimes, like with this one, I get fed up with people whining (note that I'm only talking about this thread, not the thread with that story.. what happened to her was really fucked up and I totally understand that she feels bad about that).. so .. yeah.. *cheers*

This girl (The OP) was in an abusive relationship. Her best freind took a beating from her abusive "boyfreind." If you saw the responses she recieved, you would see what she is so upset. People tend to get very emotional when they are fearing for their very lives.

This ISN'T about "whining" this young womyn's life is in danger, and all that was told her her on the original thread was "you deserved it..." followed by an insult.

Yeah...theres a few guys on the forums that spout off the same shit...women always go for the asshole,ect...guess they think they are nice guys and have been passed over? Sometimes it takes some life experience to read the signs, and even then you can get fooled. I think naykid had valid points although somewhat callously put...I was refering to the description of the boy that got violent. In her original thread she just described him about like that...the next thing I know lots of people are saying you knew he was an asshole, ect...the real signs came after she had known him and the relationship got intimate. thats what i was telling sylvan last night...some people are just sarcastic and dont mean complete harm....though, well, the post could be seen in so many different ways and therefore will get so many different points of view...it was insensitive and discusting that it would be brought in here...so one does really have to wonder about the intent.

I unnerstand the disgust with the " I'm leaving!" threads. People should step back and try to calmly talk about shit before they post that. In this case I think the content was too emotionally charged for her to do that. Life is a big learning experience. She now has learned she has to take the good and leave the rest for the most part, or at least detatch to a degree.
People need to remember, this is an open and public forum, yer gonna get assholes as well as good people.Some good people won't agree with you either (maybe the assholes will then, who knows) There have always been a fair amount of assholes on here. I don't remember alla their sn's but back in the days of Mr Bubbles there was a huuuge amount and I laid low during that period of time because I didn't wanna hear a buncha shit from those twits..there always has and always will be some assholes. Better to think about what you are posting knowing there is the possibility of recieving a bunch of negativity about it.
