whatever the case, the only constructive mention in this thread has been to do a test on a blotter before you buy, or at the very ethical least, before you resell

Lets face it. If he doesn't know the difference, which I doubt he does, than most likely the people that he surrounds himself with are similar. They will take it, hallucinate, and be happy in all likelihood. Not to mention the whole thing is probably made up anyway. Maybe not by him, but the guy that has offered him the deal. As I said, I don't know how common acid is in Canada, but in Indiana it's pretty fuckin elusive.
