Ahhhhh mullets!!!! That reminds me of where I live. The dykes wear crocs with white socks and capris to a club with a flannel shirt and a mullet. Not hot!

i have never really admitted this to that many people. but quite a few years ago when we were living in panama i wanted to get my hair cut into layers. i guess the lady didnt understand, which i figured she would because she spoke well enough english, but she ended up giving me a mullet....i was so horrified...and to make matters worse it was right before we were coming back up to the states for a visit....needless to say i was constantly wearing hats until it grew a little more and i could just get it cut short

 

Yeah that happened to my mom once, OK maybe twice. I told her not to go back to that same lady. But my mom is such a dork that she actually sported her mullet until it grew out.

 

when i first started my dreads, my hair was in a lot of layers, and when the dreads started shrinking, they shrunk at uneven lengths, which was ok, except that the ones in the front all got really short, and the ones at the back were longer. i had a dread mullet. i wore a lot of headbands, so you couldn't see that was what was going on. it was terrible.

Im OLD...so maybe Im the only one that thinks this...but didnt mullets used to be called Gypsy's way back in the late 60's early 70s ?

 

personally I am not a huge fun of mullets, but there are some modern mullet haircuts, that look cool. "oldschool" mullets suck indeed. just see the difference

EDIT: lol, I just read all the stuff about plaid and mullets. I like plaid and have long hair but shave the baby hair off my neck and a little behind the ears. Anybody know what I'm talking about, what do you call that? ...I'm a more 'feminine butch' or tomboy.
