obviously, we always troll those threads pretty well. but this one had a bunch of replies where people were discussing the actual contents of the video. or at least i assume those were the actual contents, since i didn't watch it to verify.

There is a lack-of-manliness problem in young men these days.

My senior year of college, the class took 2 vans out to the woods for an environmental science field trip. I was in the van in front. We got to the location and the 2nd van was nowhere to be found. We got back in our van to head down and look for them. We found the other students has a flat tire, and the girls were the ones jacking up the van and putting on the spare, while the guys were standing off to the side being useless observers.

It was pathetic so pathetic it angered me. The guys should've been the ones who manned up and figured out how to change a tire. This is millennial men these days. It’s not just soy and tofu, it’s also BPA in plastic bottles.

If you weren't drinking so much soy milk from plastic bottles in temperate rooms you'd see the truth that being man enough will make you more suitable to changing tires than any woman.

You simply have to shout 'by the power of grayskull' as you turn the lug wrench.

    There is with your NASCAR.

    Erhhhh.

No there's not. NASCAR is one of the last sports to use a traditional pit crew.
It's your fancy pants Euro categories and all that go up on hydraulics by the push of a button. It's un-motorsport. :triumph:

This track looks like Atlanta. :) And there's Jeff, the man, 3rd car on left with the National Guard paint scheme. :)

    Yep it's Atlanta :)

the cultural equalizing of all genders was and is a good thing. the only thing it got wrong, is that men should have become more like women instead of women becoming more like men.
it is the hatred of logic that keeps the world fucked up. there is no testosterone shortage. too fucking bad there isn't. idiots who want to go around harassing each other are welcome to find themselves another world somewhere else to fuck up. by continuing to fuck up this one, they are putting our own human species at risk of extinction.

these idiots want to talk about angry. the filth of aggressiveness is what makes me angry. regardless of gender, ideology, belief or any other damd excuse they invent for it.
they destroy freedom because they think peace is boring. peace is only boring when you lack, deny or hate imagination.
aggressiveness is what destroys freedom, and then they whine about the lack of it, and look for anything else but their hatred of consideration to blame for its loss.

this is what fascism is. this is why a war was fought against it.
it might never be finally defeated, it might never entirely go away, but there is nothing good, wonderful nor desirable about it.

sex can be cool. sex can be a legitimate outlet for it. really it has no other.

it sounds like it might be innocent and harmless, but it obstructs the creative exercise of imagination, without which there is no gratification.
without which everything that has made 'human' anything that any other species isn't, simply would not exist.

On a positive note: 91% of all murders in the US are still committed by men

A generalization. Cannibal lesbians are also worse parents.

Testosterone built civilizations. It is a man's driving force to impress and provide for a woman he loves, and everyone else in his tribe he cares about. This is what drives him to success. Men feel most empowered when they feel needed. Women feel most empowered when they feel cherished.

And yes, testosterone is on the decline. The national average declines 1% per year. Generational decline in testosterone levels observed All the more reason to some people on here to celebrate I suppose....

I'm not sure where this recent fad of vilifying masculinity comes from.. But it certainly comes with a motive to tear apart our families, and make more people dependent on the state.

The problem with the anti-masculinity trend is that.. "men" also agree with it. I'm a proud lesbian. But I know what men should be, to me. And I do not see that in social situations. I see a lot of idiots, clowns, boys, and dickheads.. but I don't pause often to think, what a well represented gentleman. And I'm not talking about the gym junkie mad dogs. Go lay down, boy. But you know, just a man.

Somewhere along the line, it became popular to man bash to the point even upcoming men are confused as to what a man might even be. It's disappointing and just such a political and media stunt. No wonder the truer men out there happen to be survivalist sorts, ones that go off grid and just don't pay attention to the media and political hypes. Just doing man things, while the younger generations put their feet up after a long shift behind the computer at work. Makes me sick. -spit-

I think traditionally "being the man" often involved alot of the dirty work due to a man's position as provider in a relationship but if guys aren't the "bread winners" in a relationship, I don't think there is necessarily that same impetuous to "be a man." Perhaps some guys view living up to some standard of traditional roles as inherently chivalrous or something but I don't think it necessarily applies to all guys.
