Do you notice i say 'maybe' i don't presume to no what all of them think . "If I have to sacrifice my whole family for the sake of our country and world, other countries that want freedom, I'll do that," Gary Qualls told the Associated Press. He said his surviving 16-year-old son now wanted to enlist and he supported him. Here's a great article about the US Secret Propaganda war. I could almost support this because if you win people's minds with propaganda you can often hasten the end of a war, and save thousands of lives. However the dirty tactics, like not attributing the source of the article or information (in these cases the US military), you destroy the credibility of the stories and ultimately do a lot more harm than good to your cause. http://nytimes.com/2005/12/11/politics/11propaganda.html?ei=5094&en=9c0b816a0b08ce5f&hp=&ex=1134277200&partner=homepage&pagewanted=print
gilligan, i'm still waiting for you to go to iraq and fight for the cause you apparently believe passionately in or have you forgotten our little conversation in another thread?
all i have to do gilligan is tell people that america isn't following the geneva convention, attacking countries without declaring war for reasons proven to be false and the most righteous of the american public are people who won't actually go to war. my message is peace and i participate in peace. your message is war and a war that you won't participate in - to some people this would stink of hypocrisy. whilst being in this fantasyland of self indulgance maybe you could chow down on some depleted uranium that "matthew" says is perfectly safe.
