Nude bodies aren't disgusting. Yes, usually porn is a bit degrading, but trying to protect kids from it will make it even more popular. That's how most minors tick. The same thing goes for marijauna. Legalize it, less people will use it.

Yes, I have my own opinion, and so do you. That's fine and dandy, and it's what makes us unique, But I don't go around bashing everyone about it and acting like I'm a saint. I can tell you this, you are going to lose your country because this murder is not a big thing to you and many people like you. It is a big thing to God. America is spoken of in the bible in the prophecies. According to the prophecies because of America's sins, her cities will burn, and America will be destroyed in one hours time. Well, apparently he heard Jesus' voice. I might consider joining if I had that happen. How can one be certain it was really him and not Satan faking it. That is my question. I cant say what makes him Christian, but from asking many that same question, the most popular response is this.
"If there is no God, it will not matter if I do or not. But, if there is a Jesus, and I have to believe in his blood washing away my sins, then I will go to heaven. So, what have I got to lose believing?"
I have always been puzzled at the nature of this answer. To me, it means, they are Christian to cover their ass...

I am not Christian, yet I find I know more about the faith than most who are.

 

Are you speaking of abortion? How do you know my feelings on it? I am simply sick of everything in this thread leading to that.

Just for the record, I am not for abortions, and I am a proud Democrat. Religion had nothing to do with my vote last Tuesday. I do not mix religion and politics. It's like oil and water. I understand your passion for saving the unborn, but are you really doing anything to help those unborn babies besides bashing others who have a different viewpoint than you? Have you ever walked in their shoes? Have you ever asked a woman that is on her way into a clinic why exactly she is doing what she's doing? Have you ever stopped to consider that? That's one thing I just don't understand about you radical pro-lifers. It's easy to stand in front of a building and protest, but are you willing to pay for a mother's prenatal care and raise that child on your own personal income for 18 years? Are you willing to stop all of the women who go into clinics and offer to adopt their unborn children? Probably not.

It's all well and good that you don't agree with abortion, but merely protesting is simply not enough. People such as yourself need to do more than that. Start offering to pay mother-to-be's medical expenses, parental counseling and sufficient housing to those who might need it.

You, as a man, will never know what it is like to carry a child in your womb for 9 months. It's miracuolus, beautiful, but definitely not a picnic either. I nearly died from complications with my twins. I would sacrafice my life for my childrens' any day of the week. So please don't accuse me of not caring about unborn babies. I do care. But we also need to do something about the children that are HERE. We are overpopullated, and more and more people that shouldn't even be having children are having them. How is that right?

Sorry if it took so long for me to respond. I became a Christian when I was eleven years old. My father told me about Jesus Christ in 1961 and I asked Christ into my heart at that age. The bible states that all of us have sin in our life and without Christ there is no forgivness of sin. Jesus was the only sacrifice that God sent to this world, so at that earily age I became Born Again. In my own simple words I ask Christ to forgive me of my sin and ask Him to be the Lord of my life. At the time nothing really happened but I believed that from that day God's Spirit came into me. In the years to follow God has revealed Himself to me in a number of ways. Some that were pratical and some that were supernatural. I can tell you this much He is a God of wonders. I know Him like I know my own earthly father. A few years ago God gave me a vision of heaven, it came to me in a dream. I did not want to leave it was beautiful, and the people there. I walked into this room, there were all these people and in an instant it was as if you could read everyone of their minds, and you knew that everyone there loved you. I never felt anything like it. I walked into another room, and there were all these white coffins. Everyone of them were open and the people that were in the room were sing songs to the Lord. The music was so powerful it would travel right through you. In the distance I could just make out very faintly angles. I was walking down this great hall and look over the side railing, there were so many levels of heaven I could not count them all. Then as I kept walking there was this older person next to me, I told him I wanted to see more and he kind of laughted and said, of course you do, of course you do, and then I woke up. I never had a dream like that, but I knew it came from the Lord. I remember I had ask Him if I could see heaven a year before that, but I never thought He would. I was just a little inside one of the entrances to the city, but the power of God was everywhere, you could just feel it. Our time on this earth is short, but what wonders await those who love the Lord. It's rare, but I have heard the voice of the Lord, it is always words comfort, and always at the right time. He never seems to speak when you want Him to, and it's always when you least expect it. Heaven is a real place, I was there.

 

Well Religion may not have anything to do with your vote , but your vote has a lot to do with abortion. The Proud Democrats are the party of abortion. It is the Party that values a womans right to muder her child. As for the child his or her life is of little importance. The right to murder it is what counts. And I understand how you value your children. But it appears your concern for the unborn is only limited to your children. And so when you say we are overpopulated this gives us the right to kill as many children as we feel necessary? And yet here in America we dont seem to have a problem with a shortage of food. Considering one of the big problems faceing Americans is an overweight population. Both my wife and I have given money to support woman who have decided to keep their children and at this time my daughter works in a Christian outreach program helping woman make decisions to pervent abortions. And when you call someone a radical prolifer I take exception with that, because I believe murder is much more radical. Abortion will be outlawed, but it will be to late for our country. The God of the bible will be returning to this world, the prophecies fortell His return. The Jews are back in Israel, and Jerusalem is under their control. The East gate is sealed. And because of America's sins the bible states that our cities will burn and are enemies will destroy our nation in one hours time. God will not stop what is going to happen to America. He is going to give our nation into the hands of our enemies. America has murdered 40 million of it's citizen's. And tossed them before the throne of God. We will pay for what we have done.

First I would say it does not matter how they feel, it only matters what is true. My religion? I don't attend church because of my job. I have no religion. What I do have is a faith in Jesus Christ. And I would say that people who do horrible things to others in the name of Christ, do not represent Him. And those people, will bare the same guilt as America. Yet America has murdered 40 million children and that killing continues at a rate of over one million children per year. I don't have to be inside their heads, there works betray them. And your facts require ignoring the scriptural description of a Christian. And your freedom of choice is really freedom to murder which the Republican platform opposes. And as far as killing being a sin. Have you ever heard of the 10 commandments? Well the 6th. commandment reads, thou shalt not kill. Exodus 20:13

Well they praticed sin in Sodom and Gomorrah and Lot and his family lived with it until Gods angles came and took them away. The God of the bible states, that Americas destruction will be like the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. The fact is, it really is to late. We kill over a million Americans with abortion every year. The blood flows like a river before the throne of God. The education are society needs is not about plumbing, it's morality. But like you said, this is not a sin free world. I know this, and I also know what God is going to do to this nation because of this sin. God is going to remove His people off of this planet, those who remain will face a day of horror.

 

Why not the murder of those with AIDS related illnesses that don't receive any medication because they're too poor? Millions more people die from the greed of pharmaceutical corporations than children from abortion. And the number is growing extremely rapidly. From seeing your posts over a period of time now, I've a feeling you know nothing about our current administrations policies other than it's self-proclaimed pro-life. Neo-cons pulled that sucker punch too; and you might even get your abolishment of abortion, but at what cost? How many wars will we wage on innocent countries? Let's finish that passage on the ten commandments, and see how many the Bush administration broke.....

Other than adultery, the rest seem pretty obvious.
