Ditto! I think the majority of this country (Christians, esp.) got off their tails and voted and took a stand. And it was all about moral issues, even the liberal media admitted that. Forget the economy... don't sell out your savior for 13 pieces of silver. (Of course, the economy has not been bad under Bush, it's just that there are more important issues like abortion, gay marriage, etc.)

Yesterday, this country took a stand, and just as the Bible says "If my people humble themselves in prayer and call out to me then I will heal their land." (that was paraphrasing, I don't have my Bible with me at the moment) But I think God's people did cry out to Him, and he did acknowledge us so GLORY TO GOD FOR 4 MORE YEARS!!!

Quite frankly I don't care about a ball of cells frozen in a lab, I care about my father who might need a bone marrow transplant but has a rare blood type, I love my father and I feel that HE has the right to live.

Keep in mind these "future doctors" could also be future junkies. The world has more then enough people in it. My fiancé is studying pre med, do you have any idea how much that costs? If you are so concerned about doctors then maybe your darling dubba could help him with his $30,000 a year tuition. Futhermore, many places where abortions are frequently practiced are in poor neighborhoods where kids are not educated about birth control, and even if they could they couldn’t afford it; and don't tell me that adoption is an option because the likelihood of a black child being adopted into a stable home is VERY slim (my roommate is one of them, she got VERY lucky), these "futrure doctors" are often abused and neglected, they grow up poor, uneducated, violent and sometimes drug addicted. If you don't believe me come up to Brooklyn and live with me for a week, we'll go to Brownsville, it will be fun, and you could educate them.

I respect that you have faith in something, my version of god tells me to do what is in my heart and what I think is right, not what somebody else’s interpretation of a book which was written by men 2000 years after it was written. It’s ok that you feel the way you do, just let me have the option of having my father live. If I really am a horrible person like you think I am then its no problem of yours, I just want my dad to live.

And i guess if there is a chance that a kid that is born could be a junki then we should kill all the kids so know one will be a junki. Abortion is like the pratice they used in Germany. The called it the final Solution. And the reason kids get pregneant is not because they have not been educated about birth control. The real reason is because they have no morals. And I guess if you think you are God you can decide which one will be the junki and which will be the doctor. It is this kind of thinking that will bring the end of the Democratic party. How dare you compare abortion, a process used for women who have been raped, for children who don't know any better because of a lack of education in their schools, for health reasons if they will die if they get pregnant again, for people who ARE responsible and do use birth control but there's some freak incident and the condom breaks or the pill doesn't work, how dare you ever compare that to the holocaust in which 6 million people were slaughtered like animals.

I too beleive our electoral system is screwed. Reagan won by 50.7% of the vote (I guess you think that was a HUGE victory too) but he did get 489 electoral votes to Carters 49.

You cannot claim that the election was stolen when the difference is 3%. It's not a landslide, but it's a CLEAR CUT VICTORY. Kerry lost the electoral college vote. Kerry lost the popular vote. You can recount and recount, and it won't change. At least he had the stones to concede like a man.

In 2000 Bush lost the popular vote and by all recounts he lost the electoral vote too. He was the first presdient appointed by the supreme court. If you don't think that is a highjacking of the elctoral process then we will just have to disagree.

There is still disagreement on who won florida in 2000. My opinion is that Gore did. You can come to a number fo different conclusions if you want to include dangling chads, recount the votes, include illegal ballots for GOP and leave out illegal ballots for Dems.
