I don't live in the US. so I guess I cannot judge well... from what I've seen in the news Bush looks like a little puppet being controlled by his daddy.....

I really like the message that kerry is putting out that the nation needs to be unified. He has said that we need to reach a common goal and become ONE people not just two political parties

BTW weed isnt legal in alaska they voted no with like 52 or 53 percent

My biggest concern is that we'll continue to move backwards on the environment. A recent study showed that global warming is heating up temperatures in the Arctic 10 times faster than at lower latitudes, and the bush crowd still deny global warming exists!

One good thing at least, now the bush crowd is going to have to deal with the mess they've made and nobody can blame it on "liberal" democrats.

I'm just amazed at how lopsided the vote was in many of the red states. I live in a town in texas (the buckle of the bush belt) and driving around here you see way more Kerry yardsigns than ones for bush. Of course I had no fantasy that bush would lose texas, but I thought for sure that Kerry would do better here than Gore did last time. But he dropped a few percentage points. Some states voted 70/30 for bush! What all this tells me is that the conservatives are just better at getting out and voting. I hope all of you who are eligible voted.

 

^^Agreed^^ ....my county in Texas was like 80% Bush, not much of a surprise but still....I know that my vote didn't really count in TX becuz it was for Kerry. Thats aparrently a big no no in Texas from what I hear . But still I voted so I feel that I have a right to argue. But for the people who were legally able to vote and didn't do so....WTF...just don't argue about anything when shit starts flying in.

By the way....how the hell did Bush gain so much of the popular vote.....51% Whats goin on in the minds of all these conservatives?

 

You are correct the % was the same but millions more voted. So alot more young people voted plus alot more of everyone else. Including our good friends the religious right.

I saw a lot too and I thought it would be a lot closer in this state..guess we were wrong..which SUCKS. But of course if you let it be known who you were voting for here, you would get.."YOU ARE VOTING FOR WHO?!" Like you have just committed the biggest sin ever..and for those of us that VOTED for Kerry, when shits starts happening, that we know will happen, you can say to the BUSH SUPPORTERS, when they start bitching.."Don't Blame Me..I voted for Kerry!"
