Ha that is exactly what I thought when I read the topic of your post!

I also found this to be laughable:
"We'll keep the force level there necessary to win," Bush said.

Win what? We demolished a freakin country. How much more can we win? They can't even function at this point. What the fuck are we winning? Maybe he has something to gain, but the US isn't winning anything, except maybe the biggest loser nation award.

 

I think what they really want are those bases in Iraq so they can have a point to operate from when they start messing with Iran. Just my opinion. Iran is another old score to settle, much the same as Iraq.
