When will you learn not to go off topic. This would be appropriate in the User Support forum. You've just proven that you're nothing but a troll, attacking us and the site.
Yeah I made a seperate thread asking the same question that gilligan asked, it was not in the wrong forum, I even explained why it wasn't in the wrong forum. So he had no legitimate reason to ban me. But what do you know ? The thread is missing. That's a class act, side stepping the question once again. Pretty straight forward, easy question that can be answered with one word. Hypocracy.
According to the latest Zogby poll released this week, Bush's approval rating is STILL dropping. From 41% last month to 38% this month. http://www.zogby.com/news/ReadNews.dbm?ID=1049
yeah seem's he's takin it pretty well tho http://movies.msn.com/movies/JibJab?gt1=7448....... hope this cheer's you up a lil skipper
As much as I love my more recent anti-bush friends, i still like to remind them them that I was againest him way back when i was in 6th grade look whose laughing now, Mrs. Jennings
So now it appears the media has been ignoring their own polls in favor of one that shows Bush increasing support. CNN and Fox news both refused to report their own poll results showing bush's approval rating decreasing or staying the same respectively and instead boasted how Bush's numbers were jumping much higher now! This is an absurd turn of events, and once again indicates Karl Rove is still manipulating the media. Lord knows what he had to say to get several networks to pull their polls in the last month. I've been watching for polls in the last 4 weeks, and there were virtually NONE. But now I discovered they've been repressing the results, awaiting ONE that showed some good numbers I suppose as some sort of Xmas present for the president. This is BUSHIT that the media is ONCE AGAIN downplaying or not even reporting negative news about Bush. http://mediamatters.org/items/200512210002
Poll: Iraq speeches, election don't help Bush CNN -- President Bush's approval ratings do not appear to have changed significantly, despite a number of recent speeches he's given to shore up public support for the war in Iraq and its historic elections on Thursday. A CNN/USA Today Gallup poll conducted over the weekend found his approval rating stood at 41 percent, while more than half, or 56 percent, disapprove of how the president is handling his job. A majority, or 52 percent, say it was a mistake to send troops to Iraq, and 61 percent say they disapprove of how he is handling Iraq specifically. The margin of error was plus or minus 3 percentage points. you mean this? http://www.cnn.com/2005/POLITICS/12/19/bush.poll/ from fox: ob Performance Ratings President Bush's average job rating for the year 2005 is 46 percent, making this the lowest annual average of his presidency. This year's average rating is down slightly from a 49 percent average in 2004; his highest annual average of 72 percent came in 2002, buoyed by post-9/11 ratings throughout that year that were in the high sixties to low eighties. The president's job rating now sits at 42 percent approve and 51 percent disapprove, essentially unchanged from two weeks ago, but up from last month when his approval hit a record low of 36 percent (November 8-9). http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,178837,00.html fox had older polls(12-13th..the abc one was 16-18th). The iraqi elections were finished in that period. The older ones were outdated. Damn that karl rove run media, i can still find all this bad news for bush!
The Bush administration will not stand for reelection so I fail to see the relevance of the poll numbers except that it might mark a general revulsion against the Republican Party. I agree with the above that a huge turn out in the 2006 elections is our best bet. That would truly be a vote against the current system. Then maybe we could get a few things done to insure that we have an election in 2008. As a passing point, I would be willing to argue that the US did not truly become a menace to the world until 1953 with the rise to power of the Dullas brothers.
When I think about the polls, I keep asking myself "how low can they (the numbers) go?" There will always be at least some small faction out there that supports the president no matter what he does...because he's the president, and it seems patriotic (and therefore, wrong) not to do so. Some people might object to him simply because he's not aggressive enough in Iraq. That's what really scares me. With what we've heard recently about spying on Americans, and especially Bush's remarks about it, I think the numbers are going to plummet.
You missed the main point. Rather than referring to their OWN polls on TV, they did NOT report these polls on live TV, but instead chose another poll from another media outlet that showed Bush faring far better! Now why would THAT be? And yes, the SHIT is gonna hit the fan very soon. And it's going to bring down quite a few high ranking repugnantcans, and probably a few dems too. Just wait! Jack Abramoff is gonna sing a song like hasn't been heard in a long time (if they LET HIM LIVE long enough that is...)
As i said with the case of at least the fox one...IT WAS OUTDATED and did you watch every second of foxnews/cnn? I bet you didn't. To make such a claim is borderline ridiculous. You guys make claims that can't really be checked. Do you have a transcript of every word said by cnn/fox from december 12th to december 22nd? Bet ya don't Their news was on their website. The CNN WAS frontpage on the top right. I don't check foxnews, so no clue on that. But as i already said, that one was outdated
