Latest #s from the USA Today/Gallup Poll shows Bush approval rating now down to 31%, a huge drop in just one week!

CAN'T GO ANY LOWER? HUH? YEAH RIGHT!

Now with people in his own party bad mouthing him, I expect he will soon have the LOWEST approval rating of any president.

Repugnantcrats are gonna lose it all this fall. I predicted this cause you give them too much power and they will abuse it, which is exactly what they did.

And now he wants to go to war with Iran. Good fucking luck, you lame duck!

The dems are gonna go ahead with impeachment proceedings, either b4 or after the elections. They've got so much Bushit to sort thru, he's never gonna prevail.

Bush's presidency is now tarnished forever. It's only a question of how much worse it can get.

A war against Iran will yield no winners.

Yes, things could still get MUCH worse. And I don't mean just his ratings!

The best part so far is that he's bringing down his party too. Not that THEY aren't doing their part in the demise of their party. There's corruption every way you look! And when the dems get the POWER, baby, look out! The shit gonna hit the fan.

The dems might not have much to show for the last 5 years with no majority, but at least they haven't been corrupting their souls as badly as the Repugnantcrats. The dems are gonna feast on rotten Republican carcasses for the next 8 years.

It's very .very rare that the rich get brought to justice in this country. He'll be just fine. The prick will retire to Tex-ass and live happily ever after, leaving this country in debt(no problem-we'll pay it),hated around the world,(hey, who cares--we're AMERICANS!by god)--and don't say shit you fuckin'" forners"or we'll blow you and and your damn kids up!---------The reason americans don't take to the streets is that the dumbasses think they'll be BIG AND RICH,like the 1 or 2 % that run everything.pffft!

The Iraq War, but I will be happy if he were to fall under any reason. Just as long as he's Not In Office. That whole regime needs to be shut down and the sooner the better.

Bush now has Jimmy Carter numbers [IMG]

May 5, 2007 - It’s hard to say which is worse news for Republicans: that George W. Bush now has the worst approval rating of an American president in a generation, or that he seems to be dragging every ’08 Republican presidential candidate down with him. But According to the poll, the public’s approval of Bush has sunk to 28 percent, an all-time low for this president in our poll, and a point lower than Gallup recorded for his father at Bush Sr.’s nadir. The last president to be this unpopular was Jimmy Carter who also scored a 28 percent approval in 1979. This remarkably low rating seems to be casting a dark shadow over the GOP’s chances for victory in ’08. The NEWSWEEK Poll finds each of the leading Democratic contenders beating the Republican frontrunners in head-to-head matchups.

They will continue to hark back to Reagan, cause who else do the Republicans have to brag about? And Reagan only appears to be some new "savior" because they've LIED about his presidency since he was in office.

Sure he made rich people richer, but unemployment was like 12% during his admin. Anyone remember THAT?

Of course I will never forget his term as Governor when he said regarding the student protests at Berkeley...

    "If it's a bloodbath they want, it's a bloodbath they'll get!".

The then proceeded to order the National Guard to do whatever it took to stop the protests, resulting deaths and many injuries to students.

Anyway, they're gonna be talking about Reagan, but watch, no one will have any FACTS to offer about why Reagan was so great, other than lowering taxes for the rich.

They don't want to discuss the other republican presidents we've had to endure like Nixon, Bush Sr., and now Bush Jr. Those presidents were a POX on the USA, trashing the constitution and the Presidency with their power mongering, corruption and LIES! Not to mention the many wars they started against powerless countries who did nothing to us!

I am against the posthumous romanticization of Reagan. It really was heavy right after he died. Most people are gullible enough to buy into the garbage. It ticks me off.

Not to derail, but when Republicans start to seperate themselves from Bush Jr. and talk about Ragan, things aren't much better for him and his despicable actions/reactions in regards to:

    a) Iran-Contra
    b) Deficit spending
    c) Trickle-down economics that didn't help the needy (Yet Bush Jr. is impletning similar BS)
    d) Funding for Al-Qaeda and Saddam Hussein
    e) Reagan taking credit for the fall of the U.S.S.R. when it collapsed from internal pressures
    f) the AIDS crisis, otherwise known as genocide via governmental apathy. Reproted in journuals as early as 1981, regan didn't speak about it openly/publically until October 1987 and reasearch towards aids was grossly under funded under his presidency. His policies were irresponsible and apalling despite having the knowledge and power to do something about aids.
    g) Reversing a large portion of the progress made towards environmental protection and sustainability developed in the 1970's.

Something like from 1979 to 1989 the richest 1% of the population gained 77% in wealth while the bottom quintile lost 1%.

    edit:

What REALLY pisses me off is that there have been DOZENS of books romanticizing Reagan and his administration, but I haven't seen ANY telling the REAL story of how HE FUCKED UP the advances made in the 60s & 70s.

He continued to BLAME the LEFT for everything wrong with America, giving no credit to how the warmongers, business interests and rightwingers including fundie christians had themselves fucked up our economy, stealing from the POOR in America and giving more to the Rich.

Reagans legacy is nearly as bad as Bushits, but WHY is no one saying this publically???

You know, if we started a thread on how FUCKED UP REAGAN was, I bet it would attract a LOT of rightwingnuts who will come to his defense. Almost guaranteed, because the Republicraps have a vested interest in keeping his legacy some pristine illusion, like he was Jesus returned.

They have been building Reagan's legacy up for the past 2 decades, but I think the time has come for a reality check, because it's obviously gonna figure big in the upcoming campaign, as we've already seen.
