Seriously, I voted the NSA spying, but I think it will ultimately be a combination of all of the above with the spying thing being the straw that broke the camel's back...and I do hope that something brings him to justice....

i say iraq war. but im very logical, very different from most americans. im sure if he had gotten head, or caught wire tapping before he admitteed to it, then he'd be a shoe in for impeachment.

 

I voted for NSA domestic spying.

I will never truly understand how the USAPATRIOT act ever happened.

But somehow, I just have the feeling that Bush will never be "brought down" or impeached just because so far for the past 5-6 years, he's gotten away with a lot.

But then you can't lay that one on bush.

Just look aroung Hip Forums and you can see just how concerned with "Privacy" everybody is.

What needs to be said is that bush has no coherent opponent. The opposition Democrats really do not want to change anything, they just want to replace Republicans at the levers of power.

 

I WISH he would be brought down, but, even with Traditional Republicans abadoning him like he were a sinking ship, I just don't think it's going to happen. He's still a Repub, and the repercussions of an other President who was a Repub being brought down is not something even the Trads, who don't like him, will tolerate.

He's a miserable failure, even his own party knows this, but I don't think impeachment is in the cards. There's still too much support for him from the Rich and the Powerful not to mention the ignorant Walmart shopping NASCAR fan.

*sigh* I hope I'm wrong about this. But I think he will end his pResidency by happily walking out of the White House the Jan after the next election.

 

No, Wayfar, only good looking Dem presidents are able to be impeached for getting a blow job. It's in the Constitution.

 

If it hasn't happened after all the crap that's gone on so far, it's not gonna.

 

i won't say can't or won't. as long as he remains the forces arrayed against international law's flavor of the week he will likely remain proped up as a useful illusion for them to manipulate behind. but if he becomes a sufficient liability to those who'se puppet he is, rove, rumsfield, et al, they could decide to drop him like a hot potatoe.

it's pretty much up to that though, when everybody's got something on everyone else and the perps make the ruels.

of course it could also get so out of hand complex that enough missed beats and dropped balls could do it. hasn't happened yet. but remember, diversity being the nature of reality is something no one is ever immune to.
