This is a bit embarrassing, but I'm asking everywhere.

For the last 12 days I have had a burning sensation in my penis. Primarily at the tip, with a more aching feeling along the shaft.

It came on suddenly one morning with sharp stabbing pain that nearly doubled me over, before easing a little and turning into this burning and aching. It is relieved by urinating, not made worse. It also seems to be relieved when I am exercising, and worse when sitting still.

My regular doctor is overseas, so I had to go to a new doctor. I am not sexually active currently, but he insisted on doing std screening, and we have confirmed that it is not an STD. We have also confirmed that it is not a Urinary Tract Infection.

Despite this the doctor tried me on a course of Alprim (trimethoprim). It made no difference. He then tried cephalexin. It made no difference, and it turns out that I am allergic to it.

Currently I am not taking anything as we are waiting for more blood test results. Does anybody have any idea what it could be? It's becoming unbearable!
